Demonstrate working of valves in the human heart | School Science Projects

  • Make a mini heart model (one chamber) to understand working of one way valves in human heart
  • Play the Circulatory System game to know:
    • different components of the circulatory system
    • components of blood: RBC’s, WBC’s and Platelets
    • Interesting facts – Life of RBC, WBC, food to increase RBC, WBC and platelet count etc..
    • Normal range for each of RBC, WBC and platelet and the consequences if otherwise.
  • Perform an activity to understand the process of transportation in Plants i.e. Transpiration

The Roads to the Heart

As the most crucial organ of all mammals, the heart is complex, beautiful and life-giving. The single provider of the transporting fluid to all parts of the body, understanding the various processes of a heart are an important part of every student’s Biology Syllabus! To rival this concept is the process of transpiration in plants, an equally important life process of all plants to survive and transport nutrients and nutrition to all the parts of a plant.

As a hands-on learning kit that brings your child’s imagination as we textbook to life, Butterfly Fields is crucial in developing a child’s knowledge from bookish to fully-equipped and practical! Our various activities will help develop your child’s independence, innovativeness, confidence and even hand-eye coordination!

With the help of the various provided material of this project, your child will perform the following activities:

  • The first activity teaches the working of the one-way valve of the heart with a mini-heart model ]
  • Next, play the Circulatory System game to know:
    • About the different components of the circulatory system
    • The various components of blood: RBC’s, WBC’s and Platelets
    • Interesting facts about the life of RBC, WBC, and the food to increase RBC, WBC and platelet count
    • What the normal range for each of RBC, WBC and platelet is and the consequences if not met.
  • Your child will further perform an activity to understand the process of transportation in Plants i.e. Transpiration

Master the concept of transportation in animals and plants with this kit!
